CIHR Funding Success

Congratulations to Dr. Francine Ducharme (Sainte-Justine) has been funded for a CIHR operating grant for her project "Determinants Of Oral corticosteroid Responsiveness in Wheezing Asthmatic Youth - DOORWAY"

Congratulation to Dr. Samina Ali (Stollery Children's Hospital) has been funded through the CIHR Catalyst Grant program for her project "Using Genomics to Address Drug Safety in Children With Traumatic Injury: An Innovative Approach to a Common Problem"

PERC 2009 Publications

 Congratulations to Amy Plint for the recent NEJM publication on the results of the CanBEST trial. Results of the trial also appeared in the local (Ottawa Citizen) and national (Globe & Mail; CBC) media. Shannon Scott and the CIHR Team have an Implementation Science article in press outlining the knowledge translation protocol. Shannon also be presented two of the CIHR Team Grant projects (MDI/Spacer and Storytelling) at the Knowledge Utilization Colloquium in Deganwy, Wales. Congratulations also to Ran Goldman for the publication of the results of the FIGR study in August issues of Pediatrics (see press release).
